🏙 Istanbul2124 Game Festival Started! 🎮

The Future of Istanbul: Istanbul 2124 Game Jam Experiences Now Available! 🌍

Held in the heart of Istanbul and organized in collaboration with The Sandbox, StartGate, and YTU GamesUP, the Istanbul 2124 Game Jam provided participants with the opportunity to create a metaverse version of Istanbul in the year 2124. This game development marathon, which took place from May 24 to 26, 2024, showcased a variety of creative projects by participants who reimagined Istanbul’s history, streets, and culture.

🎮 Voting Process Has Begun

Now, these creative experiences are being launched to the world through the Self-Publishing process! These games, showcased in The Sandbox’s Turkishverse space, open the doors to the metaverse and highlight the talents of Turkish youth in the digital world. Participants are excited to present their own created experiences for global voting.

💰Rewards

Following the jury voting held on May 26, 2024, as part of the Istanbul2124 Game Jam, 11 outstanding experiences were awarded. Now, a special Voting Reward Pool has been created for the games that receive the most votes in the Self-Publishing process. The games with the highest votes in this phase will win rewards.

⭐ Voting Reward Pool:

🥇 1st place — 3,500 SAND

🥈 2nd place — 3,000 SAND

🥉 3rd place — 3,000 SAND

🎖️ 4th to 10th place — Each receives 500 SAND

⭐ Participant Rewards

The top 20 teams participating in the self-publishing phase following the Istanbul2124 Game Jam will receive 100 SAND each.

Note: If you didn’t submit your application by June 17, 22:00 and aren’t included in the self-publishing phase, you will not be eligible for this reward.

🌐 How to Participate in Voting?

• 👤Create an Account: If you don’t already have an account in The Sandbox metaverse, you must first create one. You can use this playlist on our YouTube channel, The Sandbox Türkiye, for guidance.
• 🌟Access Experiences: After completing the account creation step, you can access the experiences where you will vote in The Sandbox Metaverse from here.
• 🎮Voting: To vote, after completing the experience, you can vote for the experience as shown below in the “PLAY TO RATE THE EXPERIENCE” section.
